Orlando Pirates will look to continue its push for the Betway Premiership title on Tuesday against in-form AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Kick-off is at 7:30pm CAT, live on SuperSport.
CURRENT FORM
AmaZulu are enjoying a stellar run and enter Tuesday’s clash on the back of a 1-0 win over Marumo Gallants at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on Saturday.
Usuthu have steadily climbed up the Betway Premiership standings, having managed six wins and two losses in their last eight league games.
They sit in fourth place on the log after 16 games played, level with third-placed Kaizer Chiefs and two points behind Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates at the pinnacle.
Orlando Pirates also claimed a victory on Saturday, defeating struggling Magesi 2-0 to claim their first win of the year and christen the newly named Orlando Amstel Arena.
The Buccaneers are level with Sundowns at the top of the table, but still have a game in hand, having played only 14 league games, the least in the Betway Premiership. A victory over Usuthu would put them clear as the leaders.
They will be looking to extend their unbeaten run of 11 matches across all competitions.

“We play against Amazulu. We have the cup. We are going to play every three days. So it's very important to manage the players.”
