Tom Pidcock won the Milan-Turin one-day race on Wednesday, going it alone in the final moments to claim his second win of the season.
Briton Pidcock, who rides for Pinarello-Q36.5, made his move in the last kilometre of the climatic Superga climb with powerful acceleration which his rivals could not match.
Tobias Halland Johannessen trailed Pidcock by four seconds with Primoz Roglic completing the podium a further second back.
Pidcock had already won a stage of the Vuelta a Andalucia last month and he was in fine form ahead of Milan-San Remo on Saturday.
