The Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and decided to bat in their first SA20 home match of the season against the Pretoria Capitals at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Monday evening.
The Sunrisers will be looking to back up their stunning opening win of the campaign, crushing the Paarl Royals by 137 runs in Paarl on Saturday, and will be eager to impress in front of a boisterous home crowd.
The Capitals meanwhile will be desperate to bounce back from their opening defeat against the Joburg Super Kings in Centurion, also on Saturday, and a win over one of the competition's favoured teams, the Sunrisers, on their home turf, would be a statement result.
The Sunrisers have made no changes to their starting XI from their opener, while the Capitals have brought in Sherfane Rutherford and Wihan Lubbe for Daniel Smith and Roston Chase.
