Kolkata Knight Riders recovered from the controversial dismissal of opener Finn Allen to post a respectable 56-1 in the powerplay of their Tata IPL clash against the Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday night.
The potentially destructive Allen got a leading edge off seamer Prince Yadav in the second over with Digvesh Rathi seemingly pulling off a fine catch on the third man boundary.
Further video views of the catch, however, suggested that the toe of his left boot may have touched the rope.
Ajinkya Rahani and Angkrish Raghuvanshi then accelerated the scoring rate to add 41 in four overs in the powerplay with 16 coming off the final over from paceman Avesh Khan.
