Kagiso Rabada (3-0-20-2) had a hand in all three wickets as the Gujarat Titans restricted the hapless Kolkata Knight Riders to just 37-3 in the powerplay during their Tata IPL match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahana skied his first ball from Mohammad Siraj (3-0-16-1) to Rabada at mid off before the South African paceman had Angkrish Raghuvanshi (8) caught by the keeper, while Kiwi opener Tim Seifert (19) slashed him straight to countryman Glenn Phillips at point.
Cameron Green (6*) and Rovman Powell (2*) were at the crease, desperate to post a competitive score with KKR marooned at the bottom of the log, the only team without a single win from five matches so far. KKR chose to bat first.
