The Momentum Multiply Titans won the toss and chose to bat first in their must-win CSA One-Day Cup match against the Dafabet Warriors at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Wednesday afternoon.
With just two games left for both teams in the pool stage, the Titans are in danger of missing out on the knockouts with them sitting fourth on the log, one point behind Boland in third.
With the top three teams making the playoffs, the Warriors are well placed at the top of the log, and will qualify for the final if they can finish there, while the second and third placed teams will battle it out in the qualifier.
The Titans will thus be more desperate than the Warriors, but with the Lions close to them in second place, the home team will also be very motivated to get the win.
